The bottle was of little value, but I was puzzled by the banning of empty containers of this size. I asked the Security attendent to give me the reason for banning these items and he responded by saying that he could not tell us why they were banned.

I got the impression that It wasn't that he didn't know, but that he wasn't allowed to tell us.
